"We are delighted that Christian Löbke, a proven and highly experienced specialist in risk management, is joining us directly from within the Financial Services organization to take on this position on the Board of Management. I wish Christian Löbke every success in this important role," said Dr. Arno Antlitz, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Volkswagen Financial Services AG as well as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Volkswagen AG. "At the same time, I would like to thank Frank Fiedler. During his 17 years of service on the Board, first as Chief Financial Officer and most recently as Chief Risk Officer, he has made significant contributions to the financial success and the solid and stable financing of Volkswagen Financial Services AG. He has particularly advanced the diversification of our refinancing," Antlitz continued.

Dr. Christian Dahlheim, CEO of Volkswagen Financial Services AG, added: "Christian Löbke knows our entire financial and mobility group inside out and, with his great expertise, he will be a tremendous asset to the whole Board. Christian Löbke, originally from Hildesheim, completed a banking apprenticeship at Volksbank Hildesheim and earned a degree in economics (Diplom-Volkswirt) from the University of Konstanz. After four years as an assistant and researcher at the University of Stuttgart-Hohenheim, he began his professional career at Bayerische Vereinsbank AG in 1998.
