Volkswagen Financial Services N.V. was founded in 1983 and is a hundred-percent indirectly held subsidiary of Volkswagen Financial Services AG. The company has its registered office in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The main purpose of the company is the financing of and participation in Volkswagen Financial Services AG group companies.

Volkswagen Financial Services N.V. also participates in the EUR 50 billion Debt Issuance Program of Volkswagen Financial Services AG and in the EUR 7.5 billion Multi-Currency Commercial Paper Program. Furthermore, the company has access to uncommitted credit facilities and to intercompany loans. All issues under the above-mentioned programs are guaranteed by Volkswagen Financial Services AG.
