Full-time studying

In your studies you will acquire the tools to analyse a wide range of challenges and find creative solutions. From business information and communication systems to e-commerce, business process management, information management, and logistics – the topics are as diverse as they are exciting. The best thing is: You can shape about a third of your studies at TU Braunschweig according to your own interests.

Requirements – your profile

• You have a general higher education entrance qualification and at least sufficient grades in German and English
• You have achieved an NC of 2.5 on your last two school reports and have at least satisfactory grades in the advanced maths course
• Enjoy computer science and economic processes / projects
• Enjoy independently designing your studies
• High level of commitment

Your tasks

• You will deal with topics from the fields of business administration, computer science, economics and law, among others. 
• You learn to recognise, evaluate, and design economic challenges
• At times, you will work in a team – for example in projects inside and outside VW FS.
• Specials, such as participation in trade fairs and school visits or the supervision of new trainees, are also part of your activities.

Thanks to the necessary basic knowledge, your degree programme at TU Braunschweig will teach you how to apply business mathematics tools and methods to economic issues. Among other things, you will deal with topics from the fields of business administration and economics, computer science, financial mathematics and computer-orientated methods.

Now it’s time to put your skills to the test. With the cognitive online-test, which takes about 45-65 minutes, you can secure your ticket to the next round.

The official start date for full-time studies is 01 August each year.

The remuneration for trainees is currently 1,827.00 Euros gross per month and is based on the current statutory minimum wage per hour within the meaning of § 1 para. 2 of the Minimum Wage Act (MiLoG), based on a 35-hour week.

While our dual study programmes take place in cooperation with universities of applied sciences (Leibniz FH, WelfenAkademie and Ostfalia) in class groups, you organise your full-time studies at the Technische Universität Braunschweig independently. University studies are characterised by a higher academic level. During the semester breaks and two practical semesters, you will gain valuable practical insights into various areas of our company.

You should definitely be interested, but explicit specialist knowledge is not required. In basic training you will learn the basics you need for your practical work in the departments.

It is mandatory to attach the last two certificates of the mainstream school as well as a CV. Applicants attending a secondary school should also enclose the most recent report card from this school, if available. Please note that applications will not be processed without complete report cards attached.

In the invitation to the interview, you will be asked to bring your school reports. At this time the information will be confirmed. Applicants who have provided false information will be eliminated from the selection process.

To get to know you better, all applicants for an apprenticeship who meet our entry requirements receive an invitation to take an online-test. The test takes about 45 - 65 minutes and can be taken from any PC with internet access. The password sent with the invitation is valid for one week. For reasons of fairness to other candidates, online-tests cannot be repeated once they have been started. Please make sure that you are not disturbed during the online-test. We ask you to make sure you have a good internet connection. If you have entered the test participation link by hand in your browser, check your entry for typing errors. You will find detailed information on how to carry out the test in connection with browsers under the menu item “Help”. There, you can also download the required software to your computer.
